A plant stand by French architect-designer Pierre Chareau (1883-1950). Chareau was a leading member of the Parisian avant-garde. This design presents many of the key themes in Chareau’s work: transparency of construction (visible nuts and bolts), anthropomorphism (footed legs), and mobility (swiveling parts).
