Orders to destinations within the United States are subject to different return policies depending on the type of product purchased, as detailed below:
“Made to Order” Jewelry & Hair Accessories
All sales of “made to order” jewelry and hair accessories are final. Made to order pieces are custom produced for you when you place your order, and are shipped upon completion by our jewelers. Made to order pieces are labeled “made to order” on their product pages and in your order summary at the time of checkout. We do not accept returns or exchanges of any pieces that are made to order.
“In Stock” Jewelry & Hair Accessories
We accept returns for store credit and exchanges of “in stock” jewelry and hair accessories within 10 days of delivery. In stock pieces are ready to ship upon purchase, and are labeled “in stock” on their product pages and in your order summary at the time of checkout.
If you wish to return or exchange an in-stock jewelry or hair accessory item, please contact customerservice@sophiebuhai.com to initiate the return process. Returns must be authorized by a customer service representative. If your purchase is eligible for return, a customer service representative will provide instructions for return and a return authorization form that must be included with your return shipment. Returns must be shipped within 3 days of your receipt of the return authorization form.
Items must be in original, unworn condition, including original packaging, to be accepted for return. In the event an item is returned that is not in original, unworn condition, we reserve the right to deny the return and/or deduct a restocking or repair fee from any store credit or exchange up to the retail price of the item returned. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and for any loss or damage that may occur in transit. Any shipping fees paid with your original order will be deducted from any credit or exchange.
Returns initiated beyond 10 days of receipt of your order, or shipped beyond 3 days of your receipt of a return authorization, will not be accepted.
Objects, Furniture, Art
All sales on sophiebuhai.com of objects, furniture, art, and other products not addressed above are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges of such items.
International Orders
All sales on sophiebuhai.com to destinations outside the United States are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges of international orders outside the United States at this time.

Damage & Repairs
In the event you receive an item that you believe is damaged or defective, we require that you email customerservice@sophiebuhai.com within 48 hours of receiving the item and include your name, proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and photos of the item.
We reserve the right to deny any request for return, exchange, or repair.
Third Party Purchases
If you purchased a Sophie Buhai piece from a third party retailer, please consult that retailer’s applicable policies. We are not responsible for items purchased from other retailers.
