A glass vase by Loetz, the premier art glass producer of the Art Nouveau period in Bohemia (present day Czech Republic). This vase is an example of the Phanomen genre of glass decor, defined by colorful, organic forms spiraling upwards. In this piece, amber-bronze threads are pulled against a frosted background. The vase has an overall iridescence of fuchsia and green with a scalloped green lip. While nearly 100 years old, this unique piece of glassware gives an impression of psychedelia.
