Jean Baptiste Gaziello
Pair of Black Ceramic Vases
c. 1930
Ceramic
9”H x 5”W x 5”D
A pair of black vases produced in Vallauris, France in the late 1930s. Jean Baptiste Gaziello was trained by famed French ceramicist Clément Massier and worked as designer for him from 1895-1905, eventually branching out on his own. Each vase is signed "Gaziello Vallauris.” The condition of these vases is fair, with wear to the surface but no cracks or repairs. A beautiful addition to a mantel.
